Warner Bros. promoted the launch of the first-person shooter game F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin with the help of some black cats, who were seen prowling around London this past Friday the 13th wearing F.E.A.R. 2 t-shirts. Prior to the stunt, a representative for Warner Bros. was quoted in the press as saying that "every day people are bombarded with so many advertising messages that it can be easy to miss them. With our research telling us that Brits are actively looking out for signs of bad luck this Friday, it makes perfect sense to try and capture their attention that way."
While the black cats I know are tired of the ridiculous association between them and bad luck, I suspect they wouldn't mind playing it up for a day if they were getting paid to do so.

RIGHT ON! My black cat, Coal, absolutely hates being associated with bad luck, and even more so, Halloween!
