I Am In Love With The West Elm Sheepskin Pouf

If this West Elm sheepskin pouf wasn't so ridiculously expensive, I would buy it for my cat Charlotte to lounge upon. Originally priced at $349, it is now on sale for $299.

That is a redonkulous price but I love it too!

I spent $60 on a sheepskin because I thought my cat Chloe would love to curl up on it. It is so fuzzy and nice. Well... she wants nothing to do with it. She prefers to sleep on old towels in her Ikea cat tent. My nose cannot detect anything odd about the sheepskin. But perhaps there is something funky only a cat can sense. It was a live animal after all...

Paul, do you have that orange and gray camouflage tent from Ikea? I saw that and really wanted to get it for Charlotte. But I recently bought her a cardboard cat cabin, and I decided the tent could wait. But it was hard to resist because it is so cute...

The Ikea tent I have is blue with green ears/tail & black whiskers (it's the shape of a cat). Chloe loves it and took to it right away. She likes it up off the floor in a large armchair. I put in old clean towels as bedding material. She likes it positioned so she can keep an eye on me if I am watching tv etc. Oddly, she wants nothing to do with cardboard boxes.

The sheepskin pouf looks seriuosly comfy. When I came here I had a little piece of sheepskin with my mom's smell on it with me. I loved to lounge on it. Then my sisfur Chilli arrived and began to rip it apart. I guess I won't be getting that pouf either, Charlotte...
