Since I work the feline behavior hotline and volunteer at shelters, I can tell you that there are not enough good homes, and not enough shelter berths. These people need to take care of their own darn cats--not pass the buck. It's not the cats that are the problem. It's the irresponsible owners. We're killing millions of cats per year due to lack of homes, and "Real Simple" advises people to add to those numbers?
